Margo Pinkerton, a.k.a. The Barefoot Contessa, got her first camera at age eight and has been photographing and traveling with a passion ever since. She started out as a location and stock photographer for advertising, corporate, travel, and outdoor clients in the early 80s, and has given numerous photo workshops and lectures, and has led many photo adventures. Her work has appeared in a plethora of calendars, coffee-table books, and magazines worldwide, including GEO and National Geographic Traveler.

 We have offered workshops in the arts as part of a unique and well-planned travel experience since 1995. An amazing number of people return to take our classes over and over again. So we must be doing something right !! Folks often tell us that they learned so much more about Guatemala, her people and culture than they had expected. We really do provide an opportunity for you to meet meet locals, ask questions and experience a different lifestyle. Oh yes, and this is in addition to the class you are taking !!

BRUNDEGE, M.S., is a widely published photographer whose work has been featured by The National Geographic Society, Equinox, The Atlantic, Smithsonian, National Audubon Society, Outdoor Photographer, Pacific Discovery, The Sierra Club, View Camera, Sunset, Wilderness, and many other publications. She has presented lectures about her work at the United Nations, University of California, Rochester Institute of Technology, & the National Park Service.

Bob Evans has conducting workshops in Yosemite, the Sierra Nevada, the California Coast, and many National Parks for 16 years offering Photography workshops for both beginners and advanced photographers. All of our workshops are limited to only 10 students which provides a maximum experience working with Bob Evans directly in the field. Our workshops not only include outstanding locations throughout the Country but most include daytime lectures and critiques.

I have been involved in the nature photography industry for over 25 years. My interest in and love of the natural world has spanned a lifetime. In my late teens, I began using a camera to communicate to others what inspired me in nature. The images resulting from this creative expression spawned a successful freelance nature photography business run primarily by my wife, Marlene.

Adventure Photography was created not just to offer quality photographic experiences, but to offer worry-free trips. Besides being professional photographers, we are both Certified International Tour Managers. We are used to making sure our traveling companions have a great time on any kind of trip.
